Orders containing products available in stock are generally shipped no later than the next business day after the order. The normal delivery time for orders in Finland is 1-3 days.

The delivery time for out-of-stock or made-to-order products usually depends on the manufacturer and is about 7-21 days. We will notify the customer separately of any exceptionally long delivery times.

How do I choose the right pulling harness?

First, check out our pulling harness selection guide. Choosing the right model and size starts with measuring your dog.

We are also happy to help you explore potential options for your dog before you place an order in the online store.

Which pulling harness is suitable for a small dog?

Most traditional pulling harnesses are made for large or medium-sized breeds.

For small dogs, sufficiently small sizes can be found in the Inlandsis Open-Back and Non-stop Freemotion models.

If you need additional help or confirmation in choosing the size, please get in touch.

Pulling harness for a dog that does not pull?

If your dog does not have a tendency to pull and usually walks beside or ahead of you without pulling, shorter normal Y-harnesses are generally the most effective and easiest solution. You can read more about this on our pulling harness page. If you are unsure about the choice, we are happy to help!

If your dog is an eager puller and/or you want to train it for pulling sports, it is absolutely important for ergonomic reasons to have good and suitable pulling harnesses.

Which bike antenna fits my bike?

Nowadays, the most common and suitable bike antenna attachment method for most bikes is around the bike's head tube, but other options are also available.

First, check out the bike antenna selection guide. You can also snap a side photo of the front of your bike for us and tell us your needs, and we will help you choose the right model.

How do I choose the right size booties for my dog?

According to our experience, the most suitable booties are obtained by measuring your dog's paw circumference while the dog is standing and dividing the result by two. This measurement is compared to the actual width of the bootie (see the size chart on the product page). Remember that the bootie must always have a little extra width so that the dog's paw can expand freely when the dog walks.

Measuring only the width of the paw does not give a good result, as it does not take into account the height of the dog's paw.

How do I choose the right kickbike/scooter for me?

The rider's height has very little significance in kick scooters, meaning the same model can be comfortably used by, for example, a 150-190 cm tall user.

You can read more about the differences between models in our kick scooter selection guide. We are also happy to help you choose a model that suits your (and your dog's) needs and budget.

I'm not quite sure about the fit of the product, could I get some help?

Absolutely! The easiest way to check the suitability of the product/size is, for example, with the fitting pictures you send via email or Whatsapp.

If it is a dog harness, see the instructions for taking fitting pictures at the end of our pulling harness page. To see the fit of the pulling harness from the picture, the harness must be under proper tension.

Hobby

I'm not sure if we'll get excited about sled dog sports. Can I start without buying any gear?

In pulling sports, the right size and suitable gear play an important role both in terms of comfort and safety.

If it seems like your dog might get excited about the sport, we recommend getting the gear meant for pulling as soon as possible, at the latest after the initial trials.

Especially the canicross belt and bungee leash are also versatile gear, meaning that besides pulling sports, they can also be used for everyday walks and hiking.

Where can you ski with a dog?

Basically, you can ski with your dog only on trails/trail times specifically allowed for dog skiing, as well as on natural ice trails, for example. You can find the dog trails closest to you in Finland on our dog trail map.

How do I teach a dog to pull?

Many dogs get excited about pulling quite naturally. Some dogs may need a little encouragement to get the hang of it. You can find tips for starting pulling sports on our page Canicross.

It is important to remember to gradually build up the dog's pulling fitness and the distance pulled, both at the beginning of the hobby and at the start of a new pulling season.

Use of equipment

Is there a rope loop on the dog's tail end in the harness? Why, and can I remove it?

The rope loop is intended for attaching the lock of the pulling line. This way, the abrasion caused by the lock easily affects the replaceable rope loop and does not wear out other parts of the harness.

The rope loop has another function as well. By adjusting its size, dogs of different sizes running side by side (in the team) can be leveled to run shoulder to shoulder. In small harnesses, the loop is therefore long, and in large harnesses, correspondingly short.

How do I attach the tow line to the bike / tow adapter?

Most commonly, the Pull line is wrapped around the front part of the bike frame or the head tube using the Pull line's hand loop as an aid.

Some adapter models may also have a separate strong metal ring on the attachment part as a fastening point for the Pull line.

The Pull line should never be attached to the ring at the end of the spring of the pull adapter; instead, the line should only pass freely through it.

Should I attach the leash lock to the dog's harness or the pulling belt?

The lock of the leash is always attached to the dog's harness.

For safety reasons, it is not recommended (and for example, not even allowed in competitions) to have any fixed metal part such as a ring or lock at the human end of the leash. This is because if the stretched bungee leash accidentally detaches from the handler's hand, the metal part in the hand loop could injure the dog.

How do I dress my dog in addition to the pulling harness?

The most effective solution is to put the jacket over the pulling harness.

Well-fitting pulling harnesses are so snug that usually only a thin protective shirt fits comfortably underneath them. Thicker jackets are therefore always worn over the pulling harness.
