Collection: Necklines

The neckline is a connecting line between the collars of sled dogs. Using a neckline increases safety, because it keeps the dogs close enough to each other and side by side. Dogs running too far apart can more easily drift into different sides of trees or poles, for example. Using the neckline also prevents two dogs from pulling in different directions on the Y branch of a double line, which could break the line.

We recommend plastic snaps to be used for safety, as they break in case of a crash or such.
