Thanks to the coarse teeth, the Kainpo Tuplajarru provides balanced braking and the sled stops even on icy surfaces. The brake's design allows free movement for the kicking foot and does not interfere with kicking.

The Kainpo Double Brake fits current Kickspark and Kickspark Max sleds, which have dedicated brake mounting points on the frame. (Older Kicksparks from the early 2010s do not have mounting holes for the brake on the frame).
A favorite among sledders with dogs, but recommended and safety-enhancing equipment for all sledders.

Note! In sled dog sports competitions, brakes are mandatory equipment in the sled class!
