Gravity Scooters' quick-release clamp speeds up the removal of the dog from the bike, for example, if the dog has gone around a tree on the wrong side - or you just simply want to let the dog have a go. The so-called panic hook / scooter hook opens by pulling the string coming from the hook.
The product is intended to be used only in situations where the bike has already been stopped! Releasing the dog while driving can cause dangerous situations. Open the panic hook only when you have grasped the bungee by hand, so that the bungee that was in the stretch does not snap onto the dog.
