The Non-stop Arctic Jakka 3.0 is a super warm down jacket for dog sledding or other arctic activities. It features high-quality goose down, moisture-resistant PrimaLoft padding, a highly durable outer fabric, and plenty of spacious pockets for gear.
The Non-stop Jakka 3.0 jacket uses a combination of materials that ensures excellent insulation properties in all weather conditions: from arctic freezing temperatures to wetter, slushy weather.
The jacket contains high-quality 800FP goose down in angled box-wall compartments to reduce cold bridges. This down is protected from moisture by a PrimaLoft® Silver padding layer, a synthetic insulation known for its performance even in wet snow or rain conditions.
The nylon shell fabric has a water resistance rating of 15,000 mm. It also withstands wear caused by dog claws and branches very well.
The jacket has down-filled snow guards around the waist and neck as well as along the two-way zipper, which reduce heat loss and protect you from all sides. The Arctic Jakka 3.0 also features a large, down-filled hood with a wide collar that effectively shields the neck and face from biting cold and wind.
A quality winter jacket must be both warm and practical. Therefore, the Arctic Jakka 3.0 is equipped with several practical and easily accessible pockets. On the outside, you will find four insulated pockets. Inside, there is an insulated pocket and three mesh pockets, perfect for drying clothes or dog booties, storing batteries, power packs, snacks, or small items. Inside the back panel, there is also a mesh pocket designed specifically for holding a hydration bladder. This prevents the liquid from freezing in harsh cold conditions.
If you get a bit too warm during more active work or under the spring sun while wearing the jacket, you can hang the Jakka on your back thanks to the suspenders inside.
