Choose Rush Belt if:

• You want a simple, lightweight walking belt to free your hands from holding the dog leash
• You need a walking belt for safety, for example when moving with a shy rescue dog, a game-driven, or reactive dog.
  
• Your dog is small or only lightly pulling. Rush Belt can handle tugs from a bigger dog, but for actual pulling activities with a large dog, we recommend canicross belts that come with leg loops for the person.

How does the dog leash attach to the Rush Belt walking belt?

The Rush Belt opens and closes with a strong metal buckle. The leash is attached to the walking belt by threading it through the leash handle on the front part of the belt. You can easily attach any leash with a hand grip to the Rush Belt – including retractable leashes.

Is the Rush Belt suitable for use with a strongly pulling or powerful dog?

If your dog is large and/or pulls strongly, we definitely recommend choosing a canicross belt with leg loops for the person, which keep the belt securely low at hip height. Alternatively, you can use the Rush Belt and get leg loops as an accessory.

Can I use the Rush Belt walking belt with my dog while biking?

Yes! Since the belt does not have leg loops that could catch on the bike saddle, the Rush Belt is an excellent choice if you want to bike with your dog running beside you, attached to both the leash and yourself. We recommend using a fairly short leash with some elasticity between the belt and the dog in this case.
