Available as a spare, replaceable side piece straps that fit Non-Stop Dogwear's Freemotion harnesses and Combined stick harnesses. Sold as a pair.
There are two different types to choose from: flexible and non-flexible.
- Non-elastic side straps: These days come as standard in new Non-stop harnesses.
- Flexible side straps: Give your dog a few more centimeters with each step. For this reason, athletes who practice canicrossning and skijoring prefer to use flexible side straps. Flexible side straps are not as durable as non-flexible ones and their condition should be checked regularly. Flexible side straps are mainly intended for competition use.
Instructions for changing the side belts:
Open the metal buckle on the side of the harness. Pull the replaceable side strap out of its place through the plastic buckle. Take the new side strap, first guide the strap through the plastic buckle, side strap through the alley and back to the metal buckle. The side strap should be adjusted so that the harness sits snugly on the dog.
