Nutrolin® SENIOR fish oil supports the mobility, brain function, and immune system of aging dogs.
- Essential omega-3 EPA and DHA fatty acids in high concentrations.
- Supports the function of the brain, eyes, heart, joints, and muscles.
- Added phosphatidylcholine to support the digestive tract – also suitable for dogs with heartburn.
- Vitamin D also supports the function of teeth and bones
- Recommended for dogs over 8 years old, previously for large breeds.
- Tastes good. Easy daily addition to food.
- Opened package must be stored in the refrigerator and used within four months.
Aging dogs experience changes in memory, learning, and behavior similar to those seen in humans with Alzheimer's disease. Common symptoms in dogs include changes in sleep patterns, confusion, and forgetting even familiar environments. The high omega-3 EPA and DHA content in the Senior formula provides effective support for aging brains, and the high vitamin E content offers double protection for the dog.
New formula – better supports the needs of aging dogs
- Higher omega-3 DHA content
- EPA content also remains stable, i.e., high
- Added vitamin D
- Added lecithin
Why these nutrients specifically?
- Omega-3 DHA supports the brain and eye function of older dogs (and EPA protects the body from age-related ailments).
- Vitamin D supports the immune system. It also maintains the health of teeth and bones as well as muscle function. Vitamin D is added to commercial dog foods, but this sensitive vitamin does not preserve well in feed and degrades during storage. Vitamin D remains well preserved in the oil. Nutrolin has added an amount to the senior oil that ensures daily vitamin D intake.
- Lecithin contains plenty of phosphocholine. It supports the well-being and function of the digestive tract. Nutritional oil containing phosphocholine mixes better with the stomach contents. Phosphocholine breaks the oil into small fat globules (so-called self emulsifying oil technology). Thanks to this, the oil is better suited for dogs with acid reflux than regular oils. Many senior dogs have sensitive stomachs, so this is really good news for them.

*Nutrolin®The fish oil used in -products is made from fish caught in the clean waters of the South American Pacific coast. The catch mainly consists of fish from the Engraulidae family (e.g., Peruvian anchovy), but also includes fish from the Carangidae, Clupeidae, Osmeridae, Scombridae, and Ammodytidae families. The omega-3 content of oil from a single fish species varies depending on the season and growth conditions, so it is important to use several fish species in oil production. This ensures that the omega-3 fatty acids, EPA, and DHA content is consistent in every batch.
Fishing in the area is regulated to prevent overfishing.
