Determining the right bootie size

Measure the circumference of your dog's paw at its widest point while the dog is standing (i.e., with weight on the paw). Divide this measurement by two and compare it to the width of the booties. Keep in mind that a dog's front paws are often wider than the hind paws. In borderline cases, choose the larger bootie (the dog's paw needs room to expand when stepping). Tip: if you don't have a flexible measuring tape, use a string and a regular ruler to measure the circumference of the dog's paw.

Please note that the Snow Bootie bootie is made of non-stretch cordura, so especially with this model, in borderline cases, it is definitely better to choose a larger size. In a lightweight fabric bootie, extra width does no harm.
