Non-stop dogwear Long Distance Light Jacket

Non-stop dogwear Long Distance Light is a very lightweight and compact dog winter jacket. 

The Long Distance Jacket has excellent thermal properties in an ultra-compact and lightweight form. It was originally designed especially for sled dog competition use, to protect the dog while running in the cold, but it is an excellent lightweight thermal jacket for all active dogs for exercise and breaks. The jacket is ultra-light and can easily be packed into, for example, a backpack or even a canicross belt pocket. Therefore, it is an excellent choice not only for sled dogs but also for hikers and trekkers.

Non-stop dogwear Long Distance Light coat is excellent for both active use and rest. The coat's insulation is Primaloft® Silver wadding, which makes it warm but lightweight. The coat is also water- and windproof.

The coat is easy to put on and take off with Velcro fasteners. The coat also includes a protective piece that attaches with Velcro in front of the groin, which protects the male dog's genitals in harsh cold conditions if needed.

Reflective loop on the neck shows the dog's movements in the dark. The Velcro loop on the back can be used together with pulling harnesses and pulling lines: wrap the Velcro loop around the line, so the coat's hem does not twist out of place even in strong wind. 

Reflective details improve visibility.

Available sizes S-XL: sizing is made according to sled dogs, so the smallest size fits, for example, a small husky.

Size selection

Choose the size according to your dog's back length. Measure from the neck to the base of the tail. The back of the coat has a small shaping cut about 5 cm before the tail, so it curves downward. Please note that the model is designed with sled dogs in mind, so the smallest size is about the size of a small husky. This model is therefore not suitable for small companion dog breeds (which have a shorter back than a sled dog).
