Canicross Belt selection guide

A lighter, more breathable version of the popular Non-stop Loype pulling belt. Designed especially for skijoring.

Loype Belt Pro is an extremely lightweight canicross belt, especially suitable for competitive skijoring. It is also ideal for anyone looking for a very lightweight and breathable canicross belt that can withstand the pull of even strong dogs. In addition to skiing, Loype Pro is also well suited for hiking, canicross and everyday use.

The flexible back pocket can hold small items such as poop bags and keys.

The design of the Loype Belt Pro does not restrict the side kicks used in skating-style cross-country skiing. With the Loype Pro belt, the pulling force is comfortably distributed across the hips and buttocks.

A quick-release buckle / panic snap hook is provided for attaching the towline (the type of buckle required in skijoring competitions).

Compared with its predecessor, the Loype Belt, the Loype Belt Pro has considerably more breathable mesh fabric on the sides and Hexivent material at the back. The pocket has also been redesigned: the flexible pocket is larger than before and less protruding.

Choosing the size of the Non-stop Loype Belt

Measure your hip circumference approximately at the level of your hip bones. Choose a size so that the padded back section reaches the front edge of your hip bones. If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

  • S size: Padded section width 60 cm. Adjustable hip circumference approx. 70–100 cm.
  • M size: Padded section width 70 cm. Adjustable hip circumference approx. 80–120 cm.
  • L size: Padded section width 80 cm. Adjustable hip circumference approx. 90–140 cm.

Loype Pro is also an excellent choice if you want to spend time outdoors, ski or hike with your dog on a retractable leash.Flexican be conveniently threaded by its handle through the towline attachment point, keeping the Flexi close to you while still allowing it to turn freely so that the belt does not twist around you. The attachment point is easy to open for threading by turning the orange buckle section.
