Non-stop dogwear Protector Bootie - booties: durable cut-resistant rubber booties for dogs.

The Protector Bootie booties protect paws from rough surfaces, glass shards, salt, and hot asphalt. Extremely durable! These booties are made from a level 5 cut-resistant material and additionally coated with nitrile rubber. The rubber makes the booties water-repellent and they grip well even on slippery surfaces. Grip is enhanced by mixing a small amount of glass fibre into the outer rubber.

Choosing the size of Non-stop Protector Bootie booties

Size is chosen according to the width of the paw. Measure the circumference of your dog's paw at its widest point while the dog is standing (so the paw bears weight). Divide this measurement by two and compare it to the width of the booties. Note that a dog's front paws are often wider than the hind paws. In borderline cases, choose the larger bootie (the dog's paw needs room to spread when stepping). Tip: if you do not have a flexible tape measure, use a string and a regular ruler to measure the paw circumference.

Note: Compared to the lightest fabric booties, this rubber-coated bootie is a bit heavier. For the bootie to stay optimally on the foot, the fit should be quite snug (as long as the dog's paw can still spread normally when stepping). It is common with this bootie model that the best experience comes from using different sizes for front and back feet.
