Pack of 100 booties for owners of multiple dogs. V.I.P. dogwear Universal booties protect your dog's paws even in demanding conditions: frost, snow, ice.
The booties are made from a durable material also used in work gloves, so they are very wear-resistant for lightweight fabric booties. V.I.P Universal booties are primarily intended for use in snowy conditions.
The Universal booties are seamless and the material is stretchy. The booties have a flexible, 25 mm wide hook-and-loop fastener that keeps them securely in place.
- previously sold under the name: Dragråttan Universal VIP
- seamless construction
- material is stretchy but strong fabric
- flexible, 25 mm wide hook-and-loop fastener keeps the booties excellently in place
- a longer version of the same bootie is also available: V.I.P Universal Long
- primarily intended for use in snowy conditions; durability on bare ground or, for example, sanded surfaces is naturally significantly shorter. For bare ground, there is a separate rubber-coated version of the Universal booties.
- Durability also depends on the type of activity. In steady running (such as with sled dogs), booties usually last longer than in activities where the dog makes quick changes of speed and direction. Booties are in any case consumable items.
- This model mainly works excellently in snowy conditions. The material is, however, breathable and porous, so when the snow is very dry and light frost snow, it can in some rare conditions penetrate through the fabric inside the bootie.
- NOTE: If you notice the end of the hook-and-loop fastener becoming fuzzy/frayed during use, it is advisable to cut a new neat edge immediately and seal the end by melting it.
Color update 2026
The color of the booties has changed from light grey to black.
Determining the correct size of the booties
Measure the circumference of your dog's paw at its widest point while the dog is standing (so that the paw bears weight). Divide this measurement by two and compare it to the width of the booties. In borderline cases, choose the wider bootie (the dog's paw needs room to spread when stepping). Tip: if you do not have a flexible tape measure, use a string and a normal ruler to measure the circumference of the dog's paw.
| Size | Bootie width flat, approx. | Bootie height, approx. | Example breeds (indicative, always measure your dog's paws) |
| XS (white trim) | approx. 6 cm | approx. 10 cm | approx. 8-14 kg dogs: sheltie, cocker spaniel, whippet |
| S (pink trim) new intermediate size | approx. 7 cm | approx. 12 cm | approx. 15-20 kg dogs: brittany spaniel, lagotto |
| M (red trim) | approx. 8 cm | approx. 13.5 cm | approx. 18-25 kg dogs: border collie, vizsla, greyster, husky, hound |
| L (yellow trim) | approx. 9 cm | approx. 14.5 cm | approx. 26-35 kg dogs: large husky, retrievers, German shepherd, German shorthaired pointer |
| XL (blue trim) | approx. 10.5 cm | approx. 15.5 cm | approx. 35-45 kg dogs: large German shepherd, large male pointer |
