Bulk pack of Non-stop Long Distance Booties: fabric booties intended for snow, very lightweight and affordable.
Non-stop Long Distance Bootie booties are really unobtrusive for the dog and do not interfere with the paw's normal movement. The Velcro strap is elastic, so the bootie fits snugly around the dog's wrist. A favorite bootie among sled dogs!
- The thin fabric protects against snow, ice, and frost.
- Durability depends on the activity: a strong, running dog will naturally wear out the bootie faster than a walking, lighter dog. Distance Bootie booties hardly withstand wear caused by, for example, gravel used for sanding.
- The advantage of Non-stop's Long Distance booties is their lightness; the thin fabric does not affect the dog's normal gait.
- Size: The size chart shows the width of the bootie (flat). For example, a size L often fits a pointing male dog.
- Also available in packs of 4.
Determining the size
Measure the circumference of your dog's paw at its widest point while the dog is standing (so the paw is bearing weight). Divide this measurement by two and compare it to the width of the booties. Keep in mind that a dog's front paws are often wider than the hind paws.
In borderline cases, choose a larger bootie (the dog's paw needs room to spread when stepping). Tip: if you don't have a flexible measuring tape, use a string and a regular ruler to measure the dog's paw circumference.
Size | Bootie width (flat) | Bootie height | Breed, e.g. |
S | 8 cm | 12 cm | cocker spaniel |
M | 9 cm | 13 cm | border collie, vizsla, husky |
L | 10 cm | 14 cm | German Shorthaired Pointer, husky |
XL | 11 cm | 15 cm | German Shepherd |
If you're looking for a more durable yet still lightweight fabric bootie, you should check out, for example, the slightly thicker Dragråttan VIP Universal booties.
